PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing plate that suppresses cracks, peeling or light leakage of an optical film such as a polarizing film and a retardation film and has a little dimensional change.SOLUTION: The polarizing plate includes a polarizing film, a first protective film laminated on one surface of the polarizing film, and an adhesive layer laminated on an outermost surface on an opposite side to the first protective film. The polarizing film shows a shrinkage force of 0.28 N or less per 2 mm width in a direction orthogonal to the absorption axis of the polarizing film when the film is held at a temperature of 80°C for 240 minutes; and the adhesive layer has a storage modulus of 0.20 MPa or more at 23°C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
