<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of eliminating delay in conveyance time by preventing faulty conveyance of developer with simple constitution, and to provide an image forming apparatus equipped with the same. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device 16 includes a first reservoir chamber 38 and a second reservoir chamber 39 in a housing 31 in which the developer is stored. An upward inclination part U is provided toward a downstream end 38ab from an upstream end 38aa in a developer conveying direction (direction A) of the base part 38a of the first reservoir chamber 38, and also toward a downstream end 39ab from an upstream end 39aa in a developer conveying direction (direction B) of the base part 39a of the second reservoir chamber 39, and a downward inclination part D is provided toward the upstream end 39aa in the direction B of the second reservoir chamber 39 from the downstream end 38ab in the direction A, and also toward the upstream end 38aa in the direction B of the first reservoir chamber 38 from the downstream end 39ab in the direction A of the base part 39a of the second reservoir chamber 39. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
