<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC label which has a simple structure and excellent water resistance and has a recording layer which can be written by hand, and to provide a manufacturing method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The IC label includes a microporous synthetic resin film (a), an adhesive layer (1), a microporous synthetic resin film (b), an IC tag (e) and an adhesive layer (2) in this order. The IC label manufacturing method includes the following first to fourth processes. The first process includes removing a peeling film (I) from a laminate composed of the peeling film (I), the adhesive layer (1), the microporous synthetic resin film (b), the adhesive layer (2) and a peeling film (II) and preparing a laminate (1). The second process includes bonding the microporous synthetic resin film (a) with the adhesive layer (II) of the laminate (1) to prepare a laminate (2). The third process includes removing the peeling film (II) of the laminate (2) to prepare a laminate (3).
