Cosmetic or dermatological oil-in-water emulsion having oil globules whose average size is 10 nm, comprises at least one solid surfactant at a temperature of = 45[deg] C, comprising ethoxylated fatty ethers, ethoxylated fatty ester, and/or glycerol fatty ester; and at least an oil comprising at least one lipophilic organic UV filter, where the oil has molecular weight of greater than 400, and weight ratio of the amount of the oily phase on the amount of the surfactant is 2-10, in a medium. Independent claims are included for: (1) a cosmetic or dermatological composition for topical use comprising the emulsion, in a medium; and (2) the preparation of the emulsion comprising mixing an aqueous phase and oily phase comprising one or more lipophilic filter under strong agitation, at an ambient temperature of 10-80[deg] C, then performing a homogenization at a pressure of 6x 10 7>-18x 10 7>Pa.
