<p>1359873 Colouring PVC FARBWERKE HOECHST AG 4 Oct 1971 [5 Oct 1970] 46064/71 Heading C3P [Also in Division C4] Polyvinyl chloride is coloured in red shades by incorporating therein a water-insoluble azo dyestuff of formula wherein R 1 is H, a C 1-4 alkyl or alkenyl group or an optionally substituted cyclohexyl, aryl or aralkyl group and R 2 is a H or halogen atom or an alkyl or alkoxy group (see Divisions C4-C5). In Example (1) polyvinyl chloride, dioctyl phthalate, dibutyl phthalate, dibutyltin dilaurate, TiO 2 and a dye as above were mixed and rolled to form a red sheet.</p> |
