<p>Method of packing trees and shrubs from nurseries in which the roots of the plants are coated with a hormone-based rooting cpd. and the foliage with an anti-fading product. The stimulation of rootlet formation and reduction of transpiration through the leaves ensures a vigorous plant which will transplant well. Treated plants are pref. kept in a transparent container impermeable to water vapour, e.g. a polyethylene bag, and the roots surrounded with a spongy material soaked in water to prevent drying out of the plants.</p> |
