The door leaf has a covering, which is connected with a panel body (1) on an inner side of the door leaf. The panel body has wall surfaces (5,6) adjoining to longitudinal edges of a front wall (2), which form an upper narrow side and a lower narrow side of the panel and extend continuously from the outer side of the door leaf till a contact area for fastening of a hinge on the inner side of the door leaf. A foam core (4) fills an inner space closed by the panel body and a covering (3). The metallic wall surface of the panel body has multiple openings (7) on the upper or lower narrow sides. An independent claim is included for a method for production of a panel for a door leaf. |
