Lignosulphite/sulphuric acid compsns - for increasing resin prodn from pines

Activating compsn. for resin collection from trees, esp. pines, comprising 5-60 pts. of an alkali(ne earth) metal or ammonium lignosulphite and 24-93 pts. of 30-94% H2SO4. The compsns. may opt. contain =10 pts. of urea. CF the prior art treatment with H2SO4 (48 degrees Be) there is an increase in resin yield of 5-10%.
