Designed for use in a warp knitting machine, the eyelats of the guide needles are aligned at 30 - 45 degrees to the axis of the mounting, according to the direction of the reciprocating motion of the back guide bar. The guide needles are prevented from imposing a deflection on the yarns so that needle wear and yarn shredding is reduced.
