1424584 Permanent floor shuttering G BARBIER & CIE 15 Feb 1973 [16 March 1972] 7612/73 Heading E1W Permanent floor shuttering for ribbed concrete floors comprises a number of rectangular panels 1 in the form of inverted trays, each with a body portion 2 and inclined side walls, e.g. 11, the panels preferably being of expanded polystyrene, and spanning between inverted T-section concrete beams 7. The angle of incline is preferably 30‹ for each side wall and concave fillets 16 are preferably provided at the lower edge of each side wall, the longitudinal side walls preferably being rebated also (as at 5, Fig. 6). The resultant transverse concrete ribs in the floor may be reinforced. Internal transverse stiffening ribs 18 are preferably provided on the panels and their height may be such that when the panels are stacked one on top of each other, the ribs of an upper panel contact the body portion of a lower panel (Fig. 8, not shown). Alternatively they may be lower to avoid such contact. Foamed polyurethane may also be used for the panels. |
