<p>Bollard type lamp formed from pedestal, lid and light aperture at right angles to the length for use by a light below eye level formed from a high-pressure mercury lamp, providing board beams of light in planes parallel to the axis of the housing, via coaxial lenses. The transverse centre point of the lamp is level with the top edge of the aperture and the bottom limit of the lamp is formed by the plane contg. the top side of the screw socket. The distance between these levels, less an amount 'x', is enclosed by a reflector which tapers upward to form a frustrum or paraboloid and is adjoined below a similar reflector which expands obliquely downwards.</p> |
