The method involves determining temperature of a reaction chamber (7) i.e. combustion chamber, and/or temperature of exhaust gas. A temperature sensor (14) is installed in form of a measurement resistor (13) depending on the temperature in the reaction chamber to obtain measurement magnitude corresponding to the temperature of the sensor.
