Enclosure incorporating arc suppression baffles for housing a power contact breaker, where the casing and insulating parts are made of glass fibre reinforced polyester resin in a flame retardant arc resistant compound. Pref. the casing is made of >=1 compression moulding with grooves into which partitions made of or faced with the polyester cpd. can slide. Pref. the compound is loaded with Al oxide to inhibit surface tracking by arcing. Combines good impact resistance with low water absorption.
