<p>A stack of coated sheets of resistivity >1012 OMEGA cm2 on one side and 103-108 OMEGA cm-2, at 50% RH, on the other are used with the dielectric surface of one sheet contacting the lower resistivity surface of the next and the assembly is placed on a support so that the lower resistivity surfaces face the support; pressure is then applied on the top most sheet, g.g. using a typewriter, to bring the sheets in intimate contact at the pressure zones and to form a latent image on each dielectric surface. The sheets are then detached and the image developed with electroscopic coloured particles. Up to 10 copies can be simultaneously obtd. using the same pressure that would be required for one copy.</p> |
