Catalytic reactor grate - tilted without spindle lifts passing through reactor wall

A moving grate support mechanism for reactors, esp. catalytic tube reactors, in which the grate (or part of it) is supported by a downwardly pivoting or collapsible support which permits the grate to drop until it slopes at 40-50 degrees to the horizontal. Pref. mechanical lifting jacks or similar raise/lower the central region of the grate, while it pivots about its side regions, and the supports are pref. of the collapsible or "buckling" type.
