<p>Lubricant compsns. which can be applied as an aerosol comprise 50-60 wt. % MOS2 as a micronised powder (av. particle size pref. 0.5 mu) and 40-50 wt. % of a liq. lubricant with a high wetting power for metal surfaces and very good antifriction props. The liq. lubricant is pref. a refined liq. animal wax from which part of the fatty acids has been removed by filtration at a max. temp. of 10-12 degrees C. The tax pref. has a s.g. of 0.900, a saponification no. of 150, an iodine no. of 90, and an unsaponifiables content (except for mineral oils) of 35-45%.</p> |
