<p>Thermoplastic copolymer for use in moulding and extrusion consists of (I) 50-99 (75-98) esp. 80-95 wt.% units derived from an alkyl methacrylate or styrene, and (IIe 1-50 (2-25) esp. 5-20 wt.% units of a mixt. of an ethylenically unsatd. carboxylic acid/carboxylic anhydride produced from an alpha-substd. acrylic acid, >=5, esp. 10, wt.% of the mixt. being in the form of anhydride units. Copolymer can be moulded to articles with a good surface, transparency, colour, and resistance to water and org. solvents.</p> |
