1359280 Nebulising apparatus AMERICAN HOSPITAL SUPPLY CORP 22 Dec 1972 [3 Jan 1972] 59379/72 Heading A5T A medical nebulizer in which liquid is supplied to a nebulizing container 10 from a supply source 1 is provided with a dual-passage tube 12 having a duct 18 for liquid flow into the container and a duct 19 for air flow therefrom, at least one of the ducts having a constriction so that surging of the liquid level in container 10 is prevented. As shown each duct is provided with a restricted orifice 23 or 24. The nebulizing container is supported in a liquid bath 11 in which is located an ultrasonic vibrator for nebulizing liquid 8 within container 10. The container 10 has an inlet tube 6 and an outlet tube 7 connecting to apparatus supplying the nebulized liquid to a patient. A blower may be provided to feed air in through tube 6.
