Detergent with =6 (=5) wt.% P content contains, w.r.t. water- and solvent-free compsn (1) 10-80 wt. % surfactant component consisting of (a) a water-soluble cpd. R-(OA)n-OCR1H-COOM (I) (where R is an 8-24C aliphatic gp. esp. 12-18C alkyl; A is -C2H4- or -C3H6-; R1 is H or 1-4C alkyl; M is a cation; esp. Na; n is 2-20 esp. 3-10), (b) >=1 each of a sulphonate or sulphate and a non-ionic surfactant, and (c) opt. non-surfactant, foam inhibitors and/or soaps of 18-22C fatty acids, provided wt. ratio (a):(b) is 6:1-1:1 and (2) 0.5-20 wt.% org. complexing salts for Ca ions, comprising the water-soluble salts of polyanionic acpds such as polycarboxylic acids, opt. contg OH and ether functions, phosphonoalkane polycarboxylic acids and OH- and amino-substd. alkanepolyphosphonic acids.
