The pharmaceutical compositions comprising an effective amount of compounds of formula I, and methods for treating or preventing metabolic disorders may be formulated for oral, buccal, rectal, topical, transdermal, transmucosal, intravenous, parenteral administration, syrup, or injection. Such compositions may be also used to the treatment of diabetes, lipid peroxidation, hypertriglyceridemia, metabolic disorders, free radical generated due to reactive oxygen and carbonyl groups, ionizing radiation, advanced glycation end products, kidney disease, renal complications and kidney stone disease. |
