Sandwich panels with a smooth face are glued together with a polyester adhesive containing fillers. The adhesive is applied to the smooth face of >=1 panel and the bonding surfaces are brought together under pressure to spread the adhesive uniformly over the whole bonding area. Pressure is applied by an Al clamping arrangement with a stiffening tubular frame. When the adhesive has cured the system is released. The panels are made of reinforced polyester skins with foamed polyurethane core.
