Joining glass panes by adhesives - using a temporary adhesive to locate the parts and an edge member

Two glass panes are joined together to form a double glazing unit by interposing a sealant member contg. a dessicant between the edges and sticking the parts together with an adhesive or a plastic material. The assembly is then immersed into a bath of an adhesive which fills the gap between the outer edges. Prior to joining the parts, a temporary adhesive is applied in strips or spots to help location of the parts w.r.t. each other.
