Derivs. of formula (I): (where X is halogen or CF3; R1 is H, halophenoxy, or 1-5 C aliphatic hydrocarbyl; R2 is H or 1-5C aliphatic hydrocarbyl; and R3 is H, a Group I, II or III metal atom, 1-5C aliphatic hydrocarbyl, amineothyl, or mono- or di-(1-5C alkyl) aminoethyl) and salts of those cpds. which are basic may be prepd. by reacting an acid of formula (II) or a reactive deriv. thereof with an amine of formula (III) or a reactive deriv. thereof.
