The layer 28 may include borosilicate glass, the etchant producing the openings in the layer 28 including a zinc solution to prevent oxidation of the electrode material beneath the openings when the material is aluminium. Nickel may be electrolessly deposited on the zinc film prior to deposition of a lead, tin and silver solder. The body 2 may be of silicon and the regions be diffused therein. |
