1374661 Hinges R HEINZE [trading as RICHARD HEINZE] 22 May 1972 [26 June 1971] 23921/72 Heading E2F In a concealed flap hinge for furniture having two hinge links 17, 18 and four hinge axes 12, 13 and 15, 16, the hinge has two casings 3, 14 one inserted in a bottom shelf 1 of the body of the article of furniture, the other inserted in an associated closure flap 2 of the article. The casings are circular or segmental cross-section and an adjustment plate is provided on which is located an adjustable U-shaped hinge bracket 4 held fast against rotation but displaceable both in the direction of the flap and in the direction of the bottom shelf of the article of furniture. In the opening movement of the hinge a hinge link 17 moves to a position 17' and a hinge link 18 moves to a position 18' while the flap assumes the position 2'. Adjustment is dealt with by means of an adjusting screw 11 and a screw 7 acts as a fastening screw to hold the hinge bracket in position.
