The lead surface is continuously coated with a polyethylene dispn. immediately before extrusion of the copolymer. The dispersion pref. contains is not 25% solids in an aromatic solvent and has a temp. of between 65 degrees C and the b.pt of the solvent. It pref. contains a polyethylene-acrylic acid copolymer opt. with additives such as S or CdS.
