Dual well completion - by installing perforator at lower zone and firing after completion of upper zone

In a dual well completion technique, tubing carrying a perforating tool for the lower producing zone is suspended from a packer and plugged while the upper zone is completed, the tubing then being connected to a production string and unplugged so that the perforating tool can be fired to imitate production from the lower zone, the tool being left downhole. The techniques is useful when the lower zone must remain uncontaminated.
