Carbamates of formula (I) (where R1 is CF3, CF2Cl, OCF3 OR OCF2Cl; R2 is H, halogen, CH3 or OCH3; R3 is vinyl or ethynyl; and n is 1 or 2) are highly active insecticides and acaricides, and also have fungicidal activity against phytopathogenic fungi. (I) are prepd. by reacting isocyanates of formula (II) (obtainable by reacting corresponding amines with COCl2) with propargyl or allyl alcohol.
