Flexible drive connection between motor and hydraulic pump - helical spring with fixing elements for motor and pump

In this application it is assumed that the motor is mounted on the frame using oscillation dampers but the pump is fixed rigidly. The fixing elements can be detached from the output shaft of the drive motor and from the pump. They are constructed from tubes with flanged ends and there is an internal tube that fits through the helical spring. Each outer tube has a groove in which the ends of the spring locates. This is bent to a right angle so that it holds in position. The inner tube has a diagonal groove so that it does not rotate inside the spring. The spring and the fixing elements are embedded in elastic material and at the end of the spring there are sheaths made from rubber or rubbery plastic.
