Gas insulated encapsulated HV line - has inside tubular encapsulation for tapered rollers attached to HV conductor supports

The line has two parallel rails mounted along the bottom of its encapsulating tube and acting as guides for tapered rollers attached to the base of the two inclined insulators supporting the H.V. conductors. The tapered rollers have V-shaped grooves which locate over the circular cross section rails. The base to which the rollers and supports are attached is obtusely angled and elastic so that it forces the rollers outwards against the sides of the rails. The rollers and rails enable the line to be slid along, inside its encapsulating tube.
