The tables have detachable legs, enabling storage in minimum space, and can be joined together to give any required arrangement. Legs (4) are triangular in section, with one open inner side. Both ends (4b) are closed by flat plates and a bearer plate (5), on which the table sits, is provided inside the leg, near the top. Each corner of the table top (1) is rebated on its upper surface (2) and two sides (3) to fit the leg and give a smooth surface. A screw (7) through the bearer secures (8) the leg to the table underside (6). To join tables together, plates (9) bolt between adjacent legs.
