Adjacent shuttering panels, with peripheral reinforcement frames and intermediate parallel reinforcement bearers, are joined, where they meet, by means of corresponding holes in the area between the reinforcements, and the frames would normally need to be substantial because of the bending stresses involved when several panels are joined at an angle. The reinforcing bearers are preferably shaped iron bars, with stems or arms fitting against arms or stems of frames of the same material. The connecting elements can be bolts through the holes, with a head at one end and a recess at the other, with a U-shaped wedge with one arm at least engaging in a recess. Bending stresses are reduced, and reinforcing frames can therefore be of lighter construction.
|
