<p>1326825 Chlorinated polyethylene biologically active ingrdient composition NIPPON SODA CO Ltd 23 Nov 1971 [25 Nov 1970 27 Nov 1970 26 March 1971] 54359/71 Heading C1B [Also in Division A5] A granule composition having an extended period of effective biological activity, comprises 100 parts of chlorinated polyethylene containing more than 25% by weight of chlorine and having a glass transition temperature lower than 20‹ C., 5 to 300 parts by weight of inorganic filler, and 5 to 100 parts by weight of biologically active ingredient, mixed at 20‹ to 100‹ C. and granulated, e.g. to particle diameters of 0À3 to 2 mm.. The biologically active ingredient may be a volatile compound selected from organo-phosphate pesticides, fumigants, attractants and perfumes, but also may be an insecticide, acaricide, nematocide, perfume, repellant, herbicide, bactericide, rodenticide, plant growth regulator or fertilizer. In examples DDVP, sodium pentachlorophenol, and lindane are used, but there is also a list of other compounds which are suitable. Optional composition ingredients are plasticizers, stabilizers and other resins.</p> |
