<p>A sealed container (31), part of which is transparent, is partly filled by two liquids, that is to say a gaseous liquid (A) and a volatile liquid (B) whose vapour pressure and density are greater than those of the gaseous liquid. The volatile liquid can be insoluble or partially soluble in the gaseous liquid. The other part of the container is occupied by a gas mixture (C) formed by the volatile liquid vapour and eventually by residual air and the gaseous liquid vapour. A temperature difference is created between the volatile liquid and the gas mixture, so that when the volatile liquid temperature is greater than the gas mixture temperature, bubbles are formed which traverse the gaseous liquid to form a froth.</p> |
