PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contact which can be small-sized in a long pitch direction and in a short (width) direction of a connector in simple structure and structured to obtain stable contact (connection) reliability without being damaged even if small-sized.SOLUTION: A contact 20 comprises a contact part that is contacted with a mating object, and a connection part 209 that is connected with a connection target. The contact also comprises a main body part 201 that is substantially U-shaped, including two sidewalls 202 and a connection wall 203 that connects the sidewalls 202. First and second contact pieces 204 and 205 are provided which protrude from the two sidewalls 202 in a direction of fitting with the mating object. At free end sides of the first and second contact pieces 204 and 205, first and second contact parts 206 and 207 which are formed in a curved shape to be in contact with the same surface of the mating object, are provided in a vertical direction. The first and second contact parts 206 and 207 are brought into roll face contact with the mating object.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
