PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a doctor blade device capable of suppressing the occurrence of defective printing.SOLUTION: A doctor blade device 30 for sliding on an intaglio plate 90 of a flatly tabular shape comprises: a blade body 31; and an ink holding part 33 disposed in front of the blade body 31 in the sliding direction of the doctor blade device 30. The ink holding part 33 includes: a leading end part 351 for contacting with the vicinity of the leading end part 311 of the blade body 31, when a pushing force in the direction to approach the blade body 31 upon the ink holding part 33 is applied, thereby to cover the front of the blade body 31 in the vicinity of the leading end part 311 of the blade body 31; and an energization mechanism 37 for departing the leading end part 351 from the blade body 31 by the energizing force for energizing the leading part 351 apart from the blade body 31 when the pushing force is released.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
