1390899 Test strips BOEHRINGER MANNHEIM GmbH 16 July 1973 [18 July 1972] 33730/73 Heading G1B Test strips for the detection of peroxidateactive substances in body fluids, comprises a carrier containing a hydroperoxide, at least one chromogen and a compound of general formula:- wherein R 1 is a dimethylamino, alkoxy, aryloxy, alkyl, aryl or N-morphalino radical and R 2 and R 3 , which may be the same or different, are dimethylamino or N-morpholino radicals, as stabilizer. The carrier may be an absorbent material impregnated with the reagents or a waterstable film containing the reagents. Other materials that may be present are a buffer, a chelating agent a thickening agent and an activator and/or a wetting agent. The test-strips are particularly useful in the colorimetric detection of blood in body fluids.
