<p>The device has a frame (1) which supports two cylinders (3 & 9) and a motor (2) which rotates the first cylinder and a cleaning brush (4). Endless bands (6 & 11) run round the cylinders and over axles (7 & 10), being held taut by tensioners (8 & 12). The two cylinders are kept in contact by means of a spring (13) which allows the cylinder (9) to be driven by friction. Under the axles is fixed a removable comb which is adjustable for height and serves to raise the hairs and to support the skin during the pulling out of the hairs. The hairs which have been pulled out are removed from the bands by the brush (4) and stored in a small adjacent chamber for disposal.</p> |
