Incandescent lamp socket has an insulator with relieved axial inserting recesses, each for a metal leaf spring element forming a plug terminal for the lamp central and side contact respectively. Two outer shanks with mutual transition abut a centre piece in the insulator recess and press against its walls. One outer shank forms a transition for a free inner shank for clamping an electric conductor in a contacting manner. Both outer shanks are symmetrically folded back, forming two freely extending inner shanks pointing towards each other. This design enables clamping of electric conductor between the two inner shanks. The terminal in the recess of the insulator may be secured against axial displacement.
