Curtain hanger has a lower hook or eyelet section, and consists of a T-shaped head section, a square neck section directly adjoining the head section, and adjoined by a thinner section. PReferably the thinner section consists of a downward-tapering frustroconical section adjoining the square section, and a cylindrical section. The thickness of the T-shaped head section and neck section corresponds to the width of the guide slot of the guide rail. There are curved sliding surfaces on the lower sides of the side arms of the T-shaped head section. The carrier or guide rail no longer needs to be provided with an insertion opening. Hanging of curtains at any desired point of the guide rail is possible with few hand-grips.
