A component checking equipment comprises two bays. One bay (122) houses power supply and test equipment connected by cables (119) and connectors (111) to the heating and cooling bay (113). The lower part of this bay contains the cooling unit (114) with fluid container (115) and pump (116). A general control unit (117) and programme units (118) are housed in the centre while the upper part contains heat exchangers (1) on which the components are mounted. The cooling and heating fluid connexions (121) are adjacent to the exchangers (1). Temperature probes and thermal safety devices are included.
