<p>Traverse ends form hooked tenons which slide vertically into posts an dfit snugly to the post section profile: with laterla traverses employing a different tenon detail to that of longitudinal traverses whereby all four tenons at a node interlock together. Each post embodies at least two adjacent vertical walls, one of which constitutes support (5, 6) and the other (2, 3) anchorage for traverse end tenons: the latter also incorporating anchorage holes (4). Each traverse (9), either lateral or longitudinal, embodies tongue or plate tenons (15) at each end which constitute two adjacent vertical walls (14, 15) which abut the corresponding walls on the post.</p> |
