After a deforming process, further parts are provided to increase the wing stability, particularly in the form of a U-shaped leading edge, which already has the appropriate form for the wing and is made of metal sheet, e.g. pressed iron or a luminium. A preformed plate of resilient synthetic material typically foam rubber is provided with a curved piece. A part in front of this curved piece is swivel-mounted below the wing support. It is fastened by gluing or tying. Space between the parts can be filled by a solid plastics component, foamed plastic or balsa wood. The above mentioned parts can be stuck together. The glider profile is very suitable for slow flight.
