Process of printing images onto drawing film based on polyterephthalate coated on both sides with lacquer pigment layer, for cartographic and lithographic purposes where dimensional stability is essential, comprises prior cleaning of lacquer pigment layer with suitable cleaning agent ot remove surface tension, applying light -sensitive layer, drying, exposure, developing and dyeing of image, the dye penetrating into lacquer layer. Recommended cleaning agent is Fairy R (RTM) which contains polyphosphates.
