Packaging for meats, vegetables etc., sold with an accompanying sauce. The meat (3) is packaged in a glass bottle (1), permitting inspection of the contents. The accompanying sauce is held in a second container (2) which serves as a lid for the bottle. Means are provided (4, 5) on the second container to hold the two together, either in the form of clips or of threaded extensions. The assembly can be used with either container on top. In another embodiment, the sauce container has a resilient skirt which co-operates in a snap-fitting manner with a circumferential projection on the neck of the meat container. |
