Each coupled end of the tubes includes a conical seat 62 and has a left-hand screwthread for connection with a collar 56 which in turn is housed in a gland 60 having a right-hand screw-thread thereon for attachment to the connector. Bores 64 leading from the outermost edge of the conical seats to the exterior, take away any leakage and avoid pressure build up at the collars and glands.</p> |
