Assembly unit with plugs for electric lights - includes dimensionally fitting fixed and resilient insulating sockets

The assembly-unit has bipolar electric contact-plugs, each contact-bar being connected to a corresponding contact-socket, directed towards the end of the assembly. Contact bar and socket are concentrically surrounded by contact-sockets and insulating-sockets, projecting above the ends of the contact-parts, the two types of socket being conductively connected to each other. The two concentric contact-sockets are surrounded by a fixed insulating socket. The insulating sockets surrounding the contact-bar, are made resilient at the other end of the assembly. The annular front-surfaces of the resilient insulating sockets have their diameter adjusted to the annular front-surfaces of the fixed sockets, so that they touch each other, when electric contact is established. The contact-device is safe to touch, also when current flows, and can be safely assembled and dismantled by attaching or detaching individual assemblies.
