This utility model relates to an air cleaning assembly for urban centers that will improve air quality by reducing outdoor air pollution and green house gas concentration produce by, among others, transportation or vehicle emissions. The air cleaning assembly for urban areas generally comprises a pair of particulate-matter-capture chambers, a gas-capture overhead container connecting to the particulate-matter-capture chambers through tubes provided therebetween, and an air sucking centrifugal fan connecting to the particulate-matter-capture chambers through tubes being provided therebetween. The upper ends of the tubes connecting the particulate-matter capture chambers and the gas-capture overhead container is extensively accommodated in the latter to cause discharge of air at its floor portion, the tubes connecting the centrifugal fan and the particulate-matter-capture chambers having their lower ends extensively accommodated in the middle portion of the particulate-matter-capture chambers being filled with predetermined volume of water. The gas-capture overhead container being made of transparent material to allow sunlight and cause photosynthesis for water-suspended microalgae being contained therein. |
