In a filter roster filter candles arranged within a vessel, the upper section of the cylindrical vessel receives an annular supporting/sepg. plate arranged inclined to the vertical axis supporting the filter candles positioned perpendicular to the plate. The inlet connection is arranged below the plate, while the outlet connection at the opposite side of the vessel is above the plate. A second separate carrying plate receives the filter candles and is sealed by a gasket to the annular plate, the second plate being fixed to the top vessel closure enabling both the second plate and the closure to be sealed simultaneously. The filter is easier to maintain and allows the exchange of different filter candle sets. |
