Washing machine drum interlock is composed of >=1 strut whose ends are releasably attached to parts fast with the washing machine drum and base resp. and the releasable attachment is formed by locking members which when pulled by grippers through the intermediary of flexible inter-connecting members are removed from the struts which are pulled free of the parts. The interlock is used during transporting of washing machine, and is removed without disassembling machine casing.
